Christmas Madness!!!

Merry Christmas to you all. Hope santa clause was good to you this year!! He was great to our family!! Best Christmas Ever. Now the Christmas's i remember are the ones where you wake up early in the morning, cozy and warm in your jammys all day long, opening your presents, makin breakfast, and then just enjoying the rest of the day, playing with your new toys and possibly goin outside to play in the snow. Well those days are long gone!!... You get married, and your Christmas becomes the rush of the season... Everything is so rushed all day long... and it just keeps goin, you can't wait for the end of the day cuz your so exhausted!! Well here is the short version of our Christmas, and all the Christmas's to come.....

We woke up farely early in the morning, ate breakfast and had some coffee (need it to get us through the rest of this day)... We open presents with my family and do our stockings from Santa... rush to get ready, and out of the house to make it to Brian's grandma's house for a Christmas exchange...which we get there about 10 am to 10:30 am... after recieving text and phone calls all morning rushin us to hurry up... then back to my moms to squeeze in a nap for taylor so she can make it through the day, and help my mom get dinner started... and then rush over to his moms around noon for their christmas dinner and gift exchange... again not on time, cuz we are constantly on the go just trying to get around to everyone... which should be appreciated and isn't. After Brian's moms, back to moms for dinner and to relax and not go anywhere anymore... the highlight of my christmas... where i can change into something comfortable, let dinner settle watch a movie, or play a game!!!!....

Christmas is such a frustrating time for us... I know that Im under pressure to do more than i can, and brian is under pressure to be on time for everything.. and there is just no way we can do that, and get around to see everyone. Its a day where alot is expected of us. So i think some people have the right idea on not comin home for the holidays, cuz then they can spend it just with their own lil family... in a more mellow matter. Which one year we will have to give our kids that luxury.

Now I understand that Christmas is the time to be with your family, and i love it, its so hard for me to think of not being with my family on Christmas, thats what i've done year after year my whole life... And i love Christmas I really do, but the last two have been really hard! so i needed some venting time. And it could be more that i just don't know how to juggle everyone at once, its goin to take some time and practice.

Anyways.. Taylor had a good Christmas!! Her favorite present is Elmo Live!!

Taylor dancing with elmo
Best gift we got her... she plays with him all the time. She got a really cool toddler mp3 player, and i uploaded all her favorite songs, disney and elmo songs to it... she carrys it around everywhere and dances to it. She got lots of clothes, a really soft blanket... Tinkerbell doll, and a baby doll that looks like her... and santa was very good to her... stuffed her stocking full. Her stocking, i have to tell you was elmo, and it was musical, his mouth moved and everything. She carried out the door with her on christmas... I finally had to hide it under aunt coleys bed. lol. It was great... but only for so long...lol. cutest thing ever!!...

Brian scored pretty good himself... Taylor and I got him the Philips Noreclo Moisturizing Shaving System... its amazing, and i love a smooth face...

He loves it, brags bout it all the time. He also got Tickets to see Jeff Dunham in April ... 2nd row may I add. So he's pretty stoked bout that. of course there are a bunch of other lil things he got, but those were his two best ones.

Im super stoked about my wireless printer/scanner/copier =) I've always wanted one, and never had one. So i can't wait to start printing. lol. A lovely glass rose that sits on the mirror.. very pretty. We both got some things that we needed such as glassware, and a really nice set of silverware!! Great gift. oooooo oooo and probably one of my most favorites is the cricut design studio program for my cricut expressions.. it just opens a whole new world up of cricut and scrapbooking, can't wait to get back to that.

Over all it was a great Christmas...
But thankfully im so glad its only one day, and that its already over!!! =) Hope you all had a good one.

And now tomorrow we will be goin to Kirsten Deaver's 2nd Birthday party... busy busy.
