Boat Lite Parade in Tricities!!

We had so much fun meeting up with my aunt debbie and uncle loren for the boat lite parade. We of course got to town much earlier than planned, but we had some last minute errands to run, and a few shopping trips. We met up in the toys r us parking lot, and drove over to the river, found us a nice little spot. We had such a good spot, that we didn't dare get out of the car. It was freakin freezing for sure. But we sat there and visited until the boats were ready to go down the river. It was pretty cool, they were decked out in lights, I didn't get any good pictures, cuz it was extremely dark out.. but we have the memory! Taylor had a blast, she sat up in the front looked out the window, and was pointing and yelling at the lights... alot oooooooo's and ahhhhhh's.

After the parade, we some how talked loren into takin debbie to the Olive Garden. Can you believe they have never eaten there... crazy I know. My uncle loren isn't a pasta eater. And funny enough i think he ordered the best meal on the menu. He got the mixed grill, which looked amazing, delicious kabobs, definitely need to give those a try. Of course we dug into the salad and breadsticks... while waiting for our food. Taylor dug into her alfredo pasta, its her favorite. Man o man did we stuffed our bellys.
they seemed to enjoy it. We had awesome service which always helps the experience.
When it came time to leave, it was a blizzard outside. The ground was completely covered, you could barely see cuz it was snowing so hard. It was crazy.
We went our seperate ways, debbie and loren went grocery shopping, and we headed back home. It took us a rather long time to get home, the roads were not the best. And we had a good 70 some miles home!
We did make it home safely. The roads had us sliding all over the place. I will tell you one thing. The winter we had this year, I have never experienced anything of a sort ever!! That was the most snow i have ever seen EVER in my life.
Now im over it, and I can't wait for it to start warming up. Bring on Spring!
