GOOD NEWS!!

Just me and my little girl ...spending good quality time together while Brian is hard at work... then he comes home every night and we spend the rest of the night as a family!! Every girls dream come true.

We are slowly gettin settled in over here in our new home in Pendleton. The movers are bringin our stuff tomorrow...wooohoooo!!! We can't wait!!! And then the stuff that we packed up in Idaho over the weekend will be here in about 2 weeks. so our home will be fully furnished.. I was gettin some great idea's on window treatments online last night, so that will be my next project... creating awesome window treatments.. Im very excited!! We have quite a few windows!! I have a great idea for one of the bathrooms, im stoked to be workin on that as well... lol. Am I a house wife or what??>.. I love it.

Anyways. WE just got our cable and internet hooked up yesterday and we are lovin it! Its great to be back in the world!!

And I personally am really becoming quite fond of Pendleton, OR. The people here are super nice, we have an awesome neighbor who turns out to be the owner of our house we are renting. The atmosphere here is just homey!! I love the feeling here. Our house is on a private lot, and its just becoming really amazing here. I may never want to leave!!... lol.

Surprise IDAHO!

So Brian comes home and says, lets leave for Idaho tonight after i get off of work. Ummmm ok. We needed to get down there and pack up all of my stuff from my mothers house, to move into our home finally!... when i moved to VA i couldn't take my things with me, it was too much trouble to move my stuff across country that didn't fit on a plane with me... so i can finally have my things... how exciting!!... I can't wait. So we made a quick and i mean quick trip to idaho over the weekend, I had no time to tell anyone let alone see anyone. I called my mom and said hey we are comin tonight.. and she was in about as much shock as i was when Brian pitched the idea to me! lol. So we loaded up the Tahoe.. made that 3 hour 20 min drive to idaho.... And the whole time I was battling a stupid head cold. FYI: traveling only makes it worse. By the time we got to idaho i was so miserable, that i just wanted to hide from the light and sleep once my medicine kicked in... So Saturday morning, we get up farely early, start packing boxes, We went out to the garage and packed up all my stuff drug it out to the yard... so funny becuz everyone thought we were havin a yard sale. So many people stoppin by walkin over... and I just felt bad tellin them sorry this is not for sale. I guess thats what we get for doin it early saturday morning... When Coley got home from work, we were all out in the garage, cleaning it out. Thanks to my moving out, mom now has half her garage. she can actually move her car inside. lol. She has waited years to do that. Anyways... We spent our entire Saturday packing and cleaning... well into the night.

Sunday was our plan to leave... My dad changed his mind on comin over saturday to pick up everything... so our sunday was delayed. My dad and Travis came over to load up the trucks and take them to my dads, where he is goin to haul his trailer up with my things, and my car to pendleton in about 2 weeks. so it will be nice to have 2 cars, and it will be really nice to have my things here with us. Well that turned into an almost all day thing packing and loading. But we got everything... Brian had a few errands to run, while I showered and bathed our daughter and got things ready to go... we still didn't get out of there until after 4pm. so you can imagine how our drive home was. We got in pretty late again.. and we made that 3 hour 20 min drive back to Pendleton...

But its gooooood to be home!

This video i couldn't resist. Taylor is jammin out in the car... with Brian and I. The video quality isn't great cuz its from a phone... but you get the jist of it.. lol. i need to start recording with my camera!!... enjoy this cuz i know i have about a dozen times.

Goin STir CraZy...Roughin It.

Our first day into pendleton, Brian is at work, I have unpacked everything and organized it..., and with time to spare... no tv, no internet... what the hell am i suppose to do??... The 2nd day I just played with taylor, we took a nice long walk down to our mailbox, played outside, and I thought ok this will make the day go by way faster. I looked at the time, and I still had like 3 or 4 hours before Brian was goin to be home. Nothin to eat... Can't wait to go grocery shoppin, and make some home cooked meals....We are so sick of eating out. Eating Out has always been like a treat... something to look forward too, until you come across the day that nothin sounds good, but your so hungry, but you've eatin at all the places already.... Im just waitin for our stuff to get here, so we can put together our home. Don't want to sleep on the floor any more!! COME ON MOVERS CALL US ALREADY!!!...

Portland was not GREAT!

So we finally made it into portland, OR.... pretty late, it was about 9 pm. on sunday the 21st. We checked into our hotel, which ended up being a pretty nice one. The country inn suites. We searched all over for a place to eat we were so starving. The entire time we were there, I had a very uneasy feeling. I plain just don't like portland. And being cooped up in a hotel room day after day was no fun. I just couldn't wait to leave and go back to Pendleton. Staying in Portland for a few too many days made me really appreciate Pendleton as our home!!... I just wanted to go back. We left Wednesday to go back to pendleton. At this point i didn't care about sleeping on the floor and not being able to do anything.

The highlight of our whole trip to Portland, was Taybugz enjoyin Her Chocolate pudding!!!!
Im glad that I thought of taking her clothes off!!!.....

HAPPY 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO US!!

I can hardly believe that it's been 2 years already of marriage. What a way to spend it right, traveling on the road. No worries, we knew ahead of time that is how it was goin to be...so we celebrated early. Thank Goodness!! Auntie Coley and Grandma watched Taylor.. while Brian and I got all dressed up, had a spendy dinner at the Olive Garden... oh and trust me its possible. The Olive Garden has always been our restraunt so it was awesome... The waiter sung to us the celebration song =). Got Everyone's attention. lol. We finished dinner with a helping of Tiramisu... delicious.. and we finished the night at the Anniversary Inn in the room called the marble house... gorgeous. Very Romantic!!! I love my Husband more than words could possibly say. And i can't wait to celebrate many many more anniversarys with him!!... Love you Baby!

I couldn't wait for Brian to open his anniversary gift, so that was early as well. I got him the Ronco Star Knife set that you see on tv all the time. He is so amazing in the kitchen, I know that knives is just what he needed. He was so stoked about his gift, he has been cookin up a storm.

Anyways happy 2 years to us!!!... We are very excited about that!

Hit the Road Jack!!

A complete and total day dedicated to traveling... Brian and I were up til 3 am packing and loading the tahoe. we shoved everything we could in that thing. stuffed to the max... boxes and bags we had planned on dropping off in Pendleton at our house, and bags goin clear to portland with us.
We got a much later start that we had expected but again we didn't plan on packing til dawn. lol. so we allowed ourselves to sleep in. By the time we were ready to go, topped off our gas tank, it was after noon. hit the road about 12:30 just about.

The whole way to Pendleton, we came across so much construction.... left lane closed, right lane closed, oh left lane closed again.. kind of slowed us down a bit with all of their one laners. lol. Usually it takes about 3 hours and 20 min exactly to get from Nampa to Pendleton. Yesterday it took us over 4 hours to get there. We went to our house unloaded our stuff, met our neighbor who turns out to be the owner of whom we are renting from. I nice older couple very nice. we live down a long driveway off of a road called Tutuilla. lol. our house is at the end, its very private, huge front yard for taybugs, and just perfect for our family... We hung out at our house for about an hour, admiring it, and guestimating where we will put our furnishings. Taylor was runnin through the house like she owned it, it was great to see how much she loved being there.

Back to the road for about another 3 to 4 hours. Not so much construction... more so it got dark around 7pm, it was so windy, and down poured, so it was a lil rough at times. But we made it.. safe and sound... pulled into portland at about 9pm. Went on a hunt for our hotel, and for a place to eat. Now we just chill here in portland and wait for the okay to head back to Pendleton. We were told that we were staying 2 to 4 days. So we don't know for sure. Which we all learn that in the military that nothin is set in stone EVER!!!...

We are so very proud of Brian. Becoming a Recruiter, although he is nervous as heck, We all know that he will do great. Tomorrow is his first day at the portland office. =) how very exciting.

After high school Brian made his dream come true about traveling the world and seeing many places, He enlisted into the United States Navy. Which he has been in for 5 years and still counting. We emailed back and forth and kept in contact and it turned out that he was comin back to Idaho that weekend, we met up down town Boise, and the rest is history...
I quit my job, packed up my things, and moved to Virginia. Where Brian was to be stationed. We fell in love like never before, he became my friend, my soulmate, my better half, my lovbucket.
