Weekend Cover Story:

These two are so dang cute together. She loves her daddy, and you can definitely tell.


Today has been my first chance to sit down and catch up on the week and the weekend. Taylor is doin great, she took all her medicine, and we haven't seen the hives since. so that is a huge relief. I heard back on her bed that we were lookin to get her, and all we have to do is plan the trip to go get it. So that is very exciting for all of us. Her big girl bed is an early Christmas Gift. so when we get that all set up I will take pictures for all ya all to see. Its goin to be super cute! I can't wait. Im transforming her room from Nursery to Big Girl... I can't believe my baby isnt a baby anymore... sniffle* ...well i guess its time for another one. hahahaha.

Anyways... Taylor got her WALL-E movie yesterday...


she held it through the entire store, and came home and continued to hold it, she showed it to daddy when he got home, and tried to give it to him to put in the dvd player, unfortunately it was alittle late, and if we put that movie in, then Taylor would have never fallen asleep. So we haven't watched it yet. Right now Taybugz is watchin TinkerBell... AGAIN!!!!.... she loves that movie.

Over the course of the week, i cleaned and cleaned and cleaned and did laundry... because we were goin to be havin company over the weekend... Alicia and the boys were comin.

I couldn't wait, we were so excited to have them comin out here to see us. It was so dang cold though we didn't really do much ...but visit and catch up, which i love, except every time we get Alicia and I together all we can talk about is food i swear, and i could feel myself gettin fatter by the minute. lol. They arrived late in the evening, we were still able to visit, I tried to wait for Brian to get home so we could eat dinner together, but he was runnin extra late... so Alicia the awesome house guest she is helped me throw something together... Neither one of us really had the money to go out shopping, and it's to dang cold to check out the shops down town. Something we will have to do in the spring!! We went out to dinner to a home cookin lil restaurant downtown called Miss Patti's... none of us had been there, so we didn't know what to expect. Well i will tell you this, they are not use to new customers, you could tell they were use to only regulars, so we really didn't have great service, and the waitress seemed so nervous, that when she took Alicia's green beans back, she spilt them on Taylor, luckily they didn't seem hot enough to burn her... and the food was ok.. the mashed potatoes were really good... and Alicia and Brian said the chicken fried steak was really good too...and they did have a really good salad bar.... but judging on our experience there i probably won't be goin back there any time soon. Such a bummer it had to be like that with Alicia and the boys here... but i think when we got home, and made banana splits, i think that had to make up for it. We missed Bubba's birthday so i promised him banana splits for his birthday celebration... they were delicious!!...

It was great for Alicia and i to just talk and catch up and can't even remember the last time we did that.. she is about 4 months preggers, and you would never know, course the 2nd day they were here i think she grew over night... she has a cute lil baby bump. i can't wait to find out what she is havin... she will call me on Thanksgiving to deliver the news!! And im countin on that call Alicia Smith!!... =) Taylor had the boys to play with... all she seemed to want to do is hug and kiss them lol. when they first got here, she chased bubba around the house with her lips...lol. she thought that was pretty funny... and her and Ashton were so cute huggin up on each other...lol. i thought i was goin to have to separate them. lol.

OMG Taylor and Alicia's boots... once she discovered they were there, she didn't want to get out of them. My baby has gone country!!... must be the new style, boots and diapers!!

They all had lots of fun.. Taylor has a ton of toys, and Alicia can verify that im not exaggerating. she had toys from VA and toys from ID, and when we combined them... OMG... we have toys comin out of our ears!!...lol. So the boys were in toy heaven..

they had a lil bit of everything out at once.. . which really made it look like she had a ton of toys... I hope everyone had fun. i know that Taylor did. she cried when they left.. she didn't want them to leave...
I need to make some friends for Taylor and I around here, but im just not sure how to go about that. Its not like Taylor goes to school where she make friends and i can meet moms. I thought about checkin into mommy and me classes, or a dance class or something for her... where we can both meet people. I just know how it was for us in VA... and it was extremely lonely... and unhealthy for the both of us, and now with her at an older age, i don't want to put her in that situation again.. so if anyone has any ideas.. let me know... I go to walmart often enough you would think i would meet someone... but our walmart is mostly empty of people inside... its great...lol.

So its always great to have company out here!!... And i was totally stoked to hear that Alicia and the boys were comin.. I just hope they had enough fun for them to want to come back again. hopefully when the weather warms up... we can go out and about more, and not eat at miss Patti's. lol. Im thinkin Chinese food...mmmm.

It was sad to see them go on sunday... the time just flew, and i wish we had more time with them.. but it won't be long and we will be back in Idaho in December!

(Thank you Alicia for comin out here to visit us, and thanks for bringing the boys to play with Taylor. We had lots of fun, and i hope we can do it again soon!!... Lov ya guys. hope you had fun!)

Next week...
We will be hosting Our very first Thanksgiving, and my family will be comin here for. Im totally excited and i can't wait.. I've been rummaging through tons of recipes... so i think i have an idea of the menu... i do know that im handmakin the pies this year, and im really excited to do that!!...Brian will be makin our delicious turkey, he got an electric roaster to do that. We just have big plans for that day. Mom and coley are comin up the day before... so that will be fun.
Coley's birthday is the day after, and i can't believe my sister will be 20... it just seems like she should be 16 or 18 forever. lol. And then a couple of days later is my birthday... and i can't believe im goin to be 24... OH my.... we just keep creepin up to 30... yikes-a-be. So i guess you would say its more of a Thanksgiving/Birthday Dinner!!.... i guess i better get a gazillion candles... lol. Im just very excited, and then before you know it, it will be Christmas, and then the new year of 2009!!... my how time flys.
