Thanksgiving Shopping!!

Its official who is comin and who isn't to our Thanksgiving. So far the weather seems to be on our side, so that is really exciting. Brian and I sat down and made our thanksgiving menu, found a few recipes for things to make!! Im so excited this year. I mean don't get me wrong, i love thanksgiving no matter what all the yummy food and what not.. Last year we were unable to go home for turkey day when we lived in VA.. Brian just didn't have the time off. so we spent it as the 3 of us, we did a good job, Brian made an amazing turkey, the ham was yummy... it was just alot for just the 2 of us that were eating it, and so we never made any homemade pies... or anything.

This year is a different story. We have our house, and we are only bout 3 hours away from Idaho... And my family is actually comin here for turkey day!!... So its on us this year!!... Brian is stoked, and Im very excited. I found some really yummy recipes.. pies are in my hands this year. I've never made a homemade pie before, i never really got the opportunity, but im totally stoked to do it this time. Im makin my mom and dad a very berry pie, with a mix of blackberries and raspberries. And Coley gets the famous two layer silk pie, and Brian and I.... a delicious caramel crunch pumpkin pie!!!....
We went shopping for everything we will need for the holiday, and it was actually really exciting, Taylor was so good, and it didn't do to much damage to the pocket book either!!!...lol.

Mom and coley are comin up the day before, so that will be great to get to sit and visit for awhile, and then we will be cookin all day Thursday!!... Brian is makin scones and mocha lattes ( the best with his cappuccino machine).... in the morning... You know add a lil baileys, and we can be drunk by 9 am. totally kidding. But we are gettin some baileys, Kahlua, and we already got some boonesfarm!!...Anyways, mom and coley are stayin until Sunday... Which will be great, cuz we are goin to drag them Christmas decoration shoppin the day after... Good ol Friday!!... its goin to be a mad house... but since we didn't do Christmas in VA last year, we got nothin... lol. just the few things i always pick up after Christmas every year... So we need a tree, and stockings, and lawn furniture. lol. Brian wants light up reindeer for our front yard... even though sometimes we have real ones!!...

Not kidding, Brian was comin home one night, and he say a deer just standin in the drive way, when she say the headlights, she took off across the front yard!!... how cool is that!!...
Anyways, not to get off subject... but my dad will be comin up early Thursday and probably will leave on Friday!!...
We plan on gettin some Jeff Dunham DVDs to sit down and watch while all our food digest in our belly... they are hilarious, if you haven't seen them before, you should, cuz they are great!!....
And thats about all that has been goin on over here. Just gettin ready for the family!!...
